this was an interesting wedding, i before the big moment they had the groom and groomsmen quarantined to the prop room behind the alter this church had a very stage like feel to it so the actual wedding seemed like something out of a theatre, anyway the groomsmen decided to goof around wiht the props after being stuck there for a good hour

so im following Bacchanal Promotions around ill be taking pics of their practices and gigs, and these guys are simply amazing. this is all just one night of practice that i caught them on. there will defiantly be more to come involving these guys, and im just so thrilled and excited to be a part of this.

so i worked my first wedding gig, ran into a big problem the second i started, first of all this isnt my first official gig, i was assistant photographer. the way it worked was the men and women were in separate halls (same building) but they are cut off from each other. so i worked the male side and my boss worked the female side. i used the company's nikon d200. and the new super battery pak for more power!! but thats where something went wrong, i pluged it into the camera but got no power :( unfortunatley my boss didnt bring the instruction manual, so i had to try and figure out how this new gizmo works and fast (button smashing). i ran outa time so i took the pak off and had to hold the battery in place while taking pics cause the groom starting making his grand entrance! but after things cooled down a bit i was able to come back and cleverly figured out how the battery pak works (MORE BUTTON SMASHING). and things were cool from there

as usual, when i have something new to try and i need a model on the spot, i can always trust and rely on my cousin to help me out in a pinch, they loved her at work, and now want her to do more modeling for the company. so if she becomes famous, just remember, she started here!

YES!! i got a new job, and for the first time in ten years, no dishes or any other food products are involved! i now work for TRES JOLIE PHOTOGRAPHY in Riverview. let me make it clear right now, I LOVE MY JOB! and everyone at work is awesome, especially my boss! this new job is also bringing new opportunities, im learning a much more advance camera than my nikon d50. well much more advanced but not very complicated. Ive basically upgraded to the d200 and d300. BEAUTIFUL MACHINES! im planning to get one of my own asap. now im still fresh to the pro world, but im certainly bringing my unique style, looks, and skills to the table.
